First preprint, #RNA25 and new lab members!

It has been an eventful several weeks for the Cottrell Lab. We welcomed two new lab members in May - Jonathan Nelson, an undergraduate researcher, and Cassandra Smoak, a graduate student. David graduate with his BS in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Cottrell was awarded a small grant from the Ralph W. and Grace M. Showalter Research Trust. The graduate students and Dr. Cottrell attended the 30th annual international meeting of the RNA Society in San Diego (Addison and Cassandra presented posters), and got to see pandas!
