First preprint, #RNA25 and new lab members!
It has been an eventful several weeks for the Cottrell Lab. We welcomed two new lab members in May - Jonathan Nelson, an undergraduate researcher, and Cassandra Smoak, a graduate student.

First Cottrell Lab undergraduate to graduate! Congrats David!
David Onishile is the first Cottrell Lab undergraduate to graduate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in German. David will be sticking around as a post-bac research technician before moving on to medical school.

Welcome back Estelle and David
After a summer away, undergraduate researchers David Onishile and Estelle Gardner have returned to the Cottrell Lab. Estelle and David both started in Spring of 2023 and study ADAR1-dependency in breast cancer.
